February 10 ~ To Honor Emily

It has been a year, Emily. A whole year that you have been gone from us, and for that, we mourn. But a whole year in the presence of Jesus, and for that, we rejoice. We love you, Emmy. We miss you so much.

  1. From an Aussie Mum who has been reading your touching story over the last few weeks. Last week it was 22 years since we lost our little son at 8 days of age. Many of your comments have struck a real chord with me.Ruby

  2. I was not supposed to be online this week, but I wanted to check in on you today. What a beautiful tribute to baby Emmy. I cried throughout the entire video, and cannot honestly say if they were tears of sorrow or rejoicing. A mix of both, I am sure. I just wanted to drop in and let you know that as promised, I have been praying for you, and have set up three times throughout today where I will just be on my knees for you and your family!HUGE HUGS!BrandyLynn K.(MOMYS theoriginalsmilesalot)

I have that picture of Jesus with the baby in His arms framed in our nursery. I love it! How comforting to know that He holds our little ones in His arms, safe from all harm! (((HUGS)))

  13. Hugs for you as you endure this anniversary. Remembering Emily in your beautiful video takes me back to that winter last year as our lives intertwined closely for that short time. It brings such bitter and sweet memories. Thank you for sharing it.

  14. Your tribute is so beautiful as is your daughter. I have a friend whose little girl is fighting for her life right now in ICU due to an unknown blood virus. You having your faith and love that shines is such a blessing to all of those who have been or will be in your shoes.May God always bless you and give you HIS peace. In HIS love,Leah Sweetman

  15. I bawled through this. For you for me. Though it hurts it’s good to remember. The memories fade and but I welcome the grief. It’s mostly what I have left of him.

She is SO beautiful…still is :o )She is touching lives even now.

Someone gave us the same picture of Jesus holding the little baby when our son died. It is precious to us.

I am so sorry and wish I could drink good coffee with you, hug you and cry together.
