If so, it is more than likely an Internet Explorer issue. There are 3 things you can do to resolve the issue:
1. Click on the incompatible icon. This is the tiny torn paper icon next to my blog’s address in your address bar. Internet Explorer is notorious for not working…thus the little icon.
2. Change browsers. Find something other than Internet Explorer. They just aren’t keeping up with the changing internet.
3. Subscribe to my blog in a reader or via email. This can be done by clicking the link below:
Sorry for the inconvenience everyone! Don’t want to lose anyone over an annoyingly messed up blog!

I haven’t noticed that issue, but I have found that no matter which browser I use, it is taking longer and longer to load the main page. On average, it is taking me about 5 minutes, with dsl. The actual post text is the last part to load.
Funny you should post this…when I try to read your blog from my laptop, it is all messed up. But when I am on our desktop, it looks fine. I will try what you suggested. Hope you are doing well!!
Hey Amy! It was looking crazy the other day on mine and I emailed you! =) Thanks for your help..I never could get it to look right! Sooooo, I scratched Internet Explorer and loaded Google Chrome instead, which I LOVE! Thanks!
Weird. I was absolutely sure I left a comment today. Did you get it? It’s no big deal, all I said was that I quit using IE because I had so many problems with it, but I was sure it took. I was your first one. Huh. Oh well.
Anymore, I just *always* have problems with IE…so I’m loyal to FireFox now
I think I would go into MAJOR withdrawals if I couldn’t read your blog…just the thought makes me feel faint! I love ya Amy!!!
Hi Amy!
I never heard back from you, but I am using Firefox now for multiple problems it solves over IE, so I guess I stumbled onto the solution without knowing it. (I’m really glad to see other commenters saying exactly what I said–I thought, “This is really weird! I sound so technically ‘out-of-it’. I was sure you were going to say, “Wendy, you’re doing _____. (some really stupid thing, that any idiot would know.) Whew! I wasn’t imagining things:)
So, I guess it’s fixed for everyone who switches. Internet Explorer better get on the ball!
Blessings,
Wendy
Wendy,
Sorry I hadn’t gotten back with you! Didn’t even realize I’d left someone hanging! Glad the problem is solved.
Blessings,
Amy
Hey now, I have the brand new Internet Explorer 7 and have had no problems with it. Everything looks normal to me. Actually I prefer it because some of the sites I frequent are not Firefox friendly. Oh and the little torn paper icon? That’s compatibility view. If it’s not working and clicking the compatibility view icon fixes it that means that your IE is too GOOD, too ADVANCED and that the web page is outdated. Not the other way around. Clicking compatibility view, activating compatibility mode, that retards your browser settings so the web page can keep up with it without lag.
