Homemade Salsa, I Love You

I have literally had these pictures and this post in mind for MONTHS.  It just didn’t seem right to post a salsa recipe in the middle of winter, ya know?  Then, I saw The Ultimate Recipe Swap at Life As Mom was on tomatoes and I couldn’t resist!

Amy’s Favorite Salsa

4 fresh diced tomatoes (or 2 cans if you must)
1 can green chilies
1 1/2 c. finely chopped red onion
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 TBSP cilantro
2 TBSP balsamic vinegar
1 TBSP olive oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp cayenne
a pinch of garlic

Chop all ingredients yourself, throw them in the blender and pulse, or throw them in the blender and pulverize! Whatever your fancy, because no matter what you do to this salsa, it is YUMMY!
