We’re Moving!
After 3 1/2 years in a home and city that has seen the ups and downs, joys and grief of our ever-changing lives, we turn the page on a new chapter.
This chapter presents my husband with a promotion in a job he loves and excels at. This chapter takes us to a city 1/3 the size of the one we live in now. This chapter has us moving further away from some family, yet closer to others. This chapter takes us to new adventures we cannot wait to discover!
Right now we are living on adrenaline. I am sure at some point it will all sink in and I will find myself reminiscing, remembering, and even grieving. Thankfully, the move isn’t too far away, but as with all moves, it will equal change. It will mean leaving things and people behind, some of which we hold dear.
But it was time. God’s hand has been in this from the beginning. Knowing that makes this move just feel right.
And just in case you were worried…
Raising Arrows will stay right here in this little corner of the internet. ![]()
Congratulations! What a wonderful new adventure for you and your family! May the Lord bless you richly!!
Moving might be a lot of work and might come with some sorrows for the memories left behind, but it is also so exciting! Moving always makes me think of a clean fresh sheet of paper which will fill with a story as time goes on, and that is so exciting, to see what wonderful things will happen and how different it will be somewhere new…
Praying for a smooth transition for you all!
Right now it all seems so surreal…hasn’t quite sunk in, but we are excited! And there is so much to do there in the way of history and art and such! We can’t wait to check all that good homeschooling stuff out!
Dear Amy,
Congratulations to your family.
I pray the move will not be to stressful and it is all you could wish for, for your family
Blessings

Dear Amy,

Congrats once again and I wish you all the best in this move. May the Lord be with you as you start this new chapter. (((hugs))) Moving fills one with memories of time gone by and it can be a bittersweet time.
yay! sounds exciting- I’m excited for you all! I’m waiting for God to work something like that out for us too, maybe
Here’s hoping that you are moving to Holdrege, NE! There is a 5 bedroom house for sale next door and I keep praying for a Christian homeschooling family to buy it!
LOL–not Holdrege, NE, sorry.
Cool! Where are you headed or is that too much info for the public.
Please register your wonderful family at http://arrowcollectors.com/ and see if there are some other families registered near the city you’re moving to.
We’re up to 250 families all over now. I would like to have 100 families per state eventually.
hope you have a wonderful move and what a awsome way to look at it all. What a inspiration you are!
Getting ready for a move ourselves. Downsizing, so much sorting and decision making as we pack. Looking forward to new adventures.
How exciting!! I know, if you are ANYTHING like me, even a good change = stress for me. That is great though, that your hubby is getting a promotion at a job he LOVES. That is great!! Good luck with all the details of the move – and finding a new place to live!
I will be praying for your family during this new season you find yourselves in. Congratulations on the promotion of you husband! I pray that God will continue to bless your family?
How exciting! I can’t wait to hear all about it, the good and the bad. Congratulations! Lisa~
Congratulations on your husband’s promotion! I hope your move goes smoothly!
Congratulations! Blessings on the move!!
I’m happy for you, but I’m sad for us. We are going to miss you dearly. I know God has great things in store for you. But it still makes me a little teary-eyed when I think of you leaving.
Oh girl! I know exactly what you’re feeling because we *just* did this ourselves.
We moved from Alabama to Mississippi back in October. Praying for you friend as you go through this process and then transition in your new place. It’s hard sometimes, but honestly, when you know that you know that you know that God has ordained it, it’s filled with peace and hope for the future.
Keep us posted..
