When you sign up, you have two options. You can sign up with a coupon code or sign up with a $65 donation. Hit the coupon code option, type in ARROW (all caps), and it will take you to the page showing your sign in link and your sign in information.
Click the link.
You will be taken to a page that shows your renewal date and that you have no fee. (should read $.00 under fee) and then you can browse around. I just did it and that’s what I got.

Hi Caroline – I just did it and clicked on a different button at the bottom of the page (can’t remember the two choices, but I must’ve clicked the “other” one – I think it was for the type of membership and selected “coupon”). Next page it took me to I entered “ARROW” in call capital letters and have no balance showing…hope that helps! Sarah

Hmmm.. question: It says 1st year membership… If I had a free membership thru a different organization a couple of years ago, can I still use this offer for a free year now?

So timely. The state we live in is requring information from us they are not allowed to by law. We are part of HSLDF so they are taking care of it for us. We have not had to use them in the 5 or so years we have been members, but it sure is nice to know they will handle this so I can go on with what I need to to.
When the state and departments step over what they are allowed we as homechoolers should take a stand and refuse to allow it to continue. It is so nice to know that I don’t have to know ever single law, but have someone to go to when problems may arise.
