FREE Tiny Tot Scavenger Hunt

Homeschool moms with little ones are always looking for ways to keep their toddlers entertained during school hours.  Today, I’m offering 2 FREE Tiny Tot Scavenger Hunts just right for those days when mom needs to keep little hands and minds occupied!

My favorite way to use these scavenger hunts is to print one out and keep it on the table beside you as you work with an older child.  Direct your toddler to find one item at a time and bring it to you.  You can also send your preschool child off with the list and a bag to collect the smaller items or designate a drop zone for everything they find.

You can download these Scavenger Hunts HERE and then peruse a few Toddler and Preschool posts here on Raising Arrows:

  1. I did something like this once. The three year old for weeks later kept bringing me the spoons! I thought it was cute, my husband not so much. Now I have learned to be very limited in what I want them to really bring me. It is a cute way to keep them busy, but I figured out that I could took a picture of a few of the toys and then handed them the stack after I printed out the pictures. That way they stuck to finding toys and not something that might have them digging in cabinets or dressers.
    It worked great.
That spring I did a photo set for things they could find outside. A rock, grass, ant, leave, stick, and I can’t remember what else. With a little watching from the older kids or myself while I weeded, it really kept them busy for a long time.

    • That’s perfect if you have the time to put something like that together. I was hoping by offering this, parents would begin to see how they could do something even more tailored to their family exactly like you did! Thanks for sharing…hoping people read the comments section. ;)

  2. What an awesome idea! My little guy would love this! He might be too small yet for some of it but it gives me an idea to make something age-appropriate for him!

Bless you for posting this awesome idea!
