What Happened to Raising Arrows? (and the winner of the MPE ticket!)

Share this post:

Those of you reading via email or feed reader may have noticed a lapse in posts from Raising Arrows. It too me a while to catch on that no feed was going out from my blog until a few days ago, when I received an email from a reader saying they had not gotten any updates from my blog since last Friday. The next day, another reader emailed with the same comment

Then, my mom called.

You know it’s serious when your mom calls.  She too had received no updates from Raising Arrows since the previous Friday.

I searched for answers and eventually deleted my post from last Monday since that was the first post not to go through.

Yesterday, my feed finally went through to feed readers, and if I’m right, this post (along with all of last week’s posts) are safe and sound in your inbox.

So, please, take the time to read the previous week’s posts, comment if you’d like, and let me know you are still here!

I also wanted to take a moment to announce the winner of the MPE Homeschool Conference ticket:

(NOTE about the Welcome Home Link Up – I am deleting it for now because it seems to be holding my feed up. If I find a solution, I’ll put it back up. Thank you for your understanding!)

  1. And happy Monday to you too! We are taking the kids on a field trip to see some buffalo, elk, and some gorgeous peacocks! Should be a nice day, as long as everyone behaves. We’ll see……

  2. I’m glad you got your feedburner problem figured out. I had that happen last year and it took me a week before I figured out how to correct it.
Thanks so much for your blog and this weekly link up.
Lately, I’ve been trying to make sure that I am complying with the link party rules, so I wonder if you would mind letting me know: I link up devotions each week and sometimes craft/recipe/marriage posts. And very rarely I have blog tips. Would you prefer I not link up any of these types of posts? Also, your button is permanently on my sidebar, but not in the body of the posts I link up. Is this okay?
I appreciate you taking the time to answer. I know you’re busy. I just want to make sure that I’m complying with the intent and rules of your link up.
    bless you,

  3. I have never commented before, but I LOVE Raising Arrows! Your family inspires me! Our number four is due in May, and your sweet Creed has given me major baby fever! Thank you for always sharing your heart!

  4. Hi Amy,
I was wondering if something bad had happened, and was going to email this morning. I was getting concerned, then I kept telling myself, she just had a baby!! Leave her alone. Glad you are doing just fine. :) You know how people have Wills and such? Did you put in your will how to blog and let us know if something happens?? :) lol. Does Ty or one of your olders know what to do for the blog?? :) *laugh*. Just joking around, glad you are fine. :)

  5. I had noticed that your blog was quiet, but like others, I thought maybe you were busy! Glad to know you were able to fix the problem and I hope you are able to resolve the link up issue too.

I have a similar problem and am wondering if anyone can help. My last post did not update in the blogger dashboard or on any of the blogroll lists on other blogs. However, the e-mail did go out and if I look at my actual feed, the new post is there. I don’t want to delete my post like you did Amy because it is part of a blog carnival and is linked to the other posts that are also in the carnival. If I delete, those links will break, even if I repost because now it is March and the link address will be different. Any ideas on how to fix this? I haven’t yet made a new post and I don’t know how to fix this or if my blog will get stuck and never update (I subscribe to other blogs that never update in the dashboard).

  6. I was wondering where you had gone. Then last night a bunch of post showed up at once for me. I am glad to be able to follow along with you. I was figuring you might just be settling in with the new baby. Thanks for being such an inspiration.
