It’s been a week of gathering my thoughts following the spectacular Teach Them Diligently Convention in Omaha this past weekend. I learned so much and met so many wonderful people, but there is so much I need to mull over. This week and upcoming weekend, I’ll be working toward a cohesive plan for the upcoming school year. Until then, I’m feeling random. This week’s link up reflects that randomness.
First up, is a wonderful post from Growing Home:
Then, from Proverbs & Pacifiers, a post on Camping with Babies. We’ve done this a couple of times, but I want to do more. And might I recommend an awesome family camping book (I learned so much from this ebook!) by my friend Katie at Kitchen Stewardship:
In The Family Camping Handbook, she teaches you the basics of camping, camping with young children, gives you lists of exactly what you need, and even provides a menu of REAL food you can eat on your trip. This book actually makes me WANT to camp, and that, my friends, is no small feat. 😉
Next, is a post from a mom of many I’ve known for many years who is blogging as a way to offer encouragement to younger mothers. Linda from Apron Strings and Other Things is working through The Hidden Art of Homemaking by Edith Schaeffer.
Our next featured post is one from Mom 2 Mom Mondays on My Joy-Filled Life.
Dusty from To the Moon and Back guest posts on the topic of not living up to your own expectations as a mother.
And finally, Nicole at Children are a Blessing shares how their family manages to vacation at the beach and still be modest.
I hope you’ll join us this week by linking up your homemaking posts!

Thank you, Amy, for mentioning my series on The HIdden Art of Homemaking. I’m in a rather random mode myself, and the wonderful collection of links here is just what I’m needing.
