I knew when I went shopping yesterday morning that public school must be starting soon. There were more notebooks, pencils, and crayons than you could shake a stick at (to borrow a phrase from my father) being purchased by harried moms.
We homeschool year round, so I’m buying supplies all year long as we run out, but I know many of you keep the same schedule as the public schools, so I thought with school starting soon, I’d make this week’s link up homeschool related.
Our first post is from Gabrielle of MamaGab. This is her first year and she writes a lovely post on what it is like for her to choose curriculum, hoping to get just the right one, yet knowing there is no such thing. A First-Time Homeschooling Mom’s Curriculum Crisis
Perhaps, you are a first time homeschooling mom as well. Might I suggest this post from Artful Homemaking: Planning for Before Five in a Row
And finally, from Meghan Carver at First Comes Love, a A Flexible, but Organized, Homeschool Schedule! (These are my favorite kind, by the way.)
Last week’s most clicked link was Artful Homemaking’s Home Education Plans for 2013-2014. I guess you guys were already in planning mode!
Now, it’s your turn to link up! You can link up to 3 posts that encourage other homemakers. (If you are reading via email CLICK HERE to view links and link up your blog posts.)
