This is what I wore to church last past weekend. It was a nice chilly day and I do so love browns. I even wore my hair down for a change (not a common thing for me since my hairline is so close to my face and my hair is so thick).
We had company over after church, which was so nice. Sadly, that’s not been something we’ve managed to do much of since we moved up here.
This week has brought tons of energy and one day where everything crashed. In fact, I was going to title this post “2nd Trimester Energy” until yesterday happened. My guess is a weather front moving in, but whatever it was, it knocked me down.
Baby moved into a weird position and stayed there for hours. I didn’t sleep well and ended up going back to bed after school was over for the day. My sensory issues were on overdrive, and I just felt an overall icky feeling.
So, I put in a movie for the kiddos and took some time to just sit. Some days are just like that.
It’s hard to believe this is my last week in the 2nd trimester. Time seems to be flying. There is just slightly over 3 months until Baby Day – which seems impossible!
One reason I love being pregnant during this time of year (this will be my 3rd January baby!) is that there is so much to do and enjoy and the coolness keeps me comfortable.
A few of the things we’ve been up to:
*Our annual Pumpkin Patch excursion. This is a highlight of the season!
*Picking apples – last week my cousin and I took 4 of the kids to pick apples and I ended up finding the best apple cider ever (according to my husband). I’m thinking we’ll be back there this next week to buy more.
*Fall crafting – I’ve decided this year to do a few more fall crafts with the kids. We’re also going to Mod Podge some leaves to put in a display.
I hope all of you are having a blessed Autumn!

There must have been something going around – I know of several friends (and I) who expressed similar “vague ickiness” and as far as I know none of them are preganant! Hope you’re feeling better.
This is my favorite time of year for many of the reasons you shared:-)

Fall is my favorite time of year as I enjoy many of the activities and especially the weather.

I just had our 4th baby 6 days ago and can totally relate to just needing some sit time! It was so hot out this summer my poor kids had more inside time than I normally like! I was wondering if you have any tips for managing everything while still on the mend. My hubby goes back to work next week and I am nervous (kids are 2, 4, 7 and nb).

Many Blessing to you and your family with your new addition!!! I’m so excited for you! I too and due in Jan though it will end up being a Feb baby because my first two were late. But what I wanted to say is, I wonder if it was the front moving through! We have had a front moving through FL, brought us AWESOME chili AM weather, but I’m 24 weeks along and baby seems to be sitting, kicking, hitting and scratching every nerve inside me and when my youngest son puts his foot or heal on my belly it sends pain through my belly like he and baby ? just exchanged blows! Praying that you feel better! 2nd Trimester Energy…. what is that?! LOL

I agree, it’s nice to be pregnant when there’s so much going on – makes the time pass by faster. Hope you’re able to have a restful weekend.

Are you bogging about your pregnancy or mine! Seriously every time you blog a week you blog exactly what my week was like! I’m 27 weeks now. The whole odd position thing…. Yeah, for a WHOLE DAY! He appeared to be almost bursting out the sides of my belly all day. It was exhausting! Took some magnesium at midwifes suggestion, found his head and encouraged it downward. Laid on my side for an hour and it finally went away. Phew! Hope you’re feeling better too!

I love autumn. I have been busy decorating, baking, and being outside as much as possible.

That’s funny that you will have 3 January babies! I have 3 born in June(out of 7 kids total)! I’m pregnant with my 8th and it’s due in March. I haven’t been ‘big’ in the Winter for a few years and I agree that it’s nice not to have the heat. However, I’m going to need a winter coat big enough to cover my belly!

You look beautiful!! I can’t believe you’re so far along already – time is flying!! Well, for me it is, because I’m not the pregnant one 😉
