Have you ever been new at something? Of course you have! We all have! Personally, I don’t like it. I am always just sure I am the only one who has ever been a newbie, and I am certain I look all sorts of awkward.
This year, some of you are newbies at homeschooling, some are newbies at staying at home, some are newbies at being a mom, and some are even newbies at being Christians. In honor of all you newbies, this week’s link up consists of posts from blogs that have never been featured here on Welcome Home Wednesday. They are all “newbies!”
First up, a lovely post from Casey at A Dash of Salt and Light entitled
Stay At Home Wife?
Our second newbie is Shannon from On the Hearth on How to Give Haircuts at Home. I only know one haircut, so I’m excited to read some Tipbits from Shannon!
And finally, from The Forgiven Former Feminist:
Fitness & Faith that asks, €œIf you€™re a Christian, why do you work out? Didn€™t God make you the way you are?€
And who gets the prize for most clicks? Becca from Milk & Honey Living with her Exciting Announcement! Everyone loves an exciting announcement!
Now, it’s your turn! And if you’re a newbie and wondering if you should join us, just do it! It’s not awkward at all! 🙂

Thanks for the party, Amy! I only know one haircut too – the buzz cut lol. I’m on my way to check out that post 🙂 Have a blessed week!
Shannon @ Of The Hearth says
Thanks so much for highlighting my post, Amy!
I have found myself experiencing many new things in recent months, but I find I’m less intimidated by these things because of link-ups like yours. I always find such great ideas and guidance in the posts that are linked!

Link ups are a great way to get started! 🙂
Stacy @ Stacy Makes Cents says
Welcome to all of the “newbies.” Thanks for hosting!

Sorry…I accidentally uploaded my link twice! I’m new at this. 🙂 It wasn’t showing up so I thought I’d done something wrong. Turns out my only problem is patience. 🙂
Amy says
Hee hee…I’ll go in and fix it. 🙂
Jessica says
Thanks! 🙂

Wow! I am incredibly flattered. Thanks so much for the feature. I’ve been enjoying your blog for quite some time and thank you for the encouraging words you so often provide. Thanks again! In Christ, Casey

I am new at homeschooling since this past April (only 4 months into our first year). I am also new to blogging. Will be starting a kindergartener in homeschooling next month, very intimidating, as the other kids were pulled from school, this feels like starting from scratch.

Wow, Amy! Thank you so much for sharing and highlighting my link from last week! I can’t believe it had the most clicks; what an awesome surprise! Thank you so much for hosting all of us newbies 🙂

I gave my 20yo son a hair cut yesterday, so I need to read about giving hair cuts. I’ve been doing that for 20 years now.
